"To the stars who listened – and the dreams that were answered in having friends like you."
Paige
"That's the point of it, Bryce. Of life. To live, to love, knowing that it might all vanish tomorrow. It makes everything that more precious." - Sarah J. Maas
The author of this story. A dreamer born in a court of nightmares. She lost herself in fantasy worlds long ago. Now she wanders worlds of her own creation. Beautifully painting vibrant escapes and found families with the stroke of a pen. A soul crushing book is never far from her side, waiting to consume her until the very end. When she does crash land back into reality, she can be found with her Inner Circle not far from her side, just waiting to see what adventures they will embark on next.
Tasha
"You could be great. You could rattle the stars. You could do anything if you dared." - Sarah J. Maas - Throne of Glass
Eight years ago in a small tavern in the heart of Liberty Square in the Magic Kingdom I didn't give Tasha the option to be my best friend. She really brought it on herself for saying she loved Supernatural, and thus the chaos queens were born as I gripped her tight, raised her from perdition, and crash landed into her life like Castiel in Season 4. With our years of friendship came so many nicknames that you will rarely catch me calling her Tasha. She's not only my ride or die, she's the whole reason this wedding is even happening. She introduced me to Cole and the rest was history. Thanks Hersh <3
Jess
"To the stars who listen – and the dreams that are answered." - Sarah J. Maas
Jess is the sister of the groom, my future sister in law, and an excellent addition to the Inner Circle. She fit in easily with her love of reading and passion for the Sarah J. Maas universe. She encouraged me to finish the Sarah J. Maas journey I had started and stopped multiple times in college and I soon found a home in books once again. Now you'll see that inspiration throughout the wedding. She has two cats (one of which I proudly named after one of our favorite book characters) and one ghost cat!
Sky
"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers." - Anne of Green Gables
I met not one but two of my court under the light of the thirteen lanterns. While Tasha arrived first, Sky was not far behind and with her she brought along a few more people that this story would be incomplete without. Sky was quick to match my energy. You can catch us speaking in our favorite quotes on a daily basis. Mostly New Girl and A Very Potter Musical. You can find us shopping, writing, planning, wearing mustaches, and gaslighting Connor (don't worry he deserves it). Sky is also beyond crafty and a key player in some of the decorations you will see.
Cap
"Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." - Albus Dumbledore
If sunshine could be bottled in a person that would be Cap. Disney has given me a lot of things but Cap was an unexpected addition. We met on the Disney PhotoPass marketing team and I knew when she messaged me in all caps (if you don't scream text in all caps from excitement are you even doing it right…) that she would be the perfect addition to our Inner Circle. Little did she know befriending me came with six additional friends. She once said to me that "the stars truly listened and answered in finding friends like you" and she couldn't have been more right. Oh and her name is Emily but she'll always be Cap to me.
Cole
He may deny it until he is blue in the face but Cole has one of the biggest hearts in the group. He'll drop anything if someone needs help, no questions asked (one of the many reasons I love him). When I'm not dragging him to places he may not want to go he can be found studying something new with a puppy on one side and a computer on the other. He loves board games, card games, and spending hours at Clermont National. Oh and before I forget…did you know he worked at the Bellagio!?
Hunter
Hunter loves the feel of velvet, swimming with manatees, and not being toxic…just kidding he hates all of those things. Hunter is Sky's husband and was quick to become a close friend to the group and Cole's best friend. He actually loves fishing, golfing, disc golf, and being toxic. He coined the term for game nights "it's about being toxic". While he loves being toxic he truly has a big heart and cares greatly for the friend group. A true ride or die. Except to that one squirrel he "accidentally" killed disc golfing (Cole asked me to add this). Brock and Jared were witnesses.
Connor (Fetus)
Sky introduced her brother Connor to the group when he was just 20 years old…so he quickly received the nickname fetus. When we met Connor he played a round of Mario Party with us and stole all of my (Paige's) stars. In return we have made sure he has never won a game of Unstable Unicorns. Thus our toxic friendship began but we couldn't imagine life without him. If you see Fetus at the wedding make sure to ask him to take a picture with Orion, his fake pet hamster.
Jared
Jared is the brother of the bride and was quick to become besties with Niffty (our puppy)…and then the rest of the friend group too. Jared grew up playing hockey, gaming into the insane hours of the morning, and shortly lived in Colorado after he graduated college. Cole and Jared both work in the tech industry and were quick to hit it off talking shop. He was also quick to join in the many game board nights on his visits. He introduced Brock to the rest of the group not long after and it wasn't long before he joined the group too.
Brock
I met Brock when he was in high school with Jared. They were both on the same hockey team and became fast friends. Brock would travel with our family to Florida and he easily fit in with our Florida friends when I moved here long term. He told Hunter he would go to war with him and unfortunately taught us all to tap in. Please don't let him convince you to tap in at the wedding. You will find Brock walking around with his Lucious Malfoy wand/cane (maybe if he actually buys it this time…he's been saying it for years"). A fun fact about Brock is that he almost got us kicked out of Halloween Horror Nights for scaring the scare actors. Luckily we didn't and it makes for a great story.
